About Jersey Shore Region of the AACA
Our Mission
From the Sandy Hook Lighthouse to the Barnegat Lighthouse, we’re proud to represent 50 miles of coastal communities along the Jersey Shore—an area steeped in late-20th-century automotive history, from the Asbury Park Circuit to New Jersey’s last operating paved oval speedway.
Our region is dedicated to celebrating antique automobiles, preserving automotive history, and bringing together enthusiasts who share a passion for classic cars and the stories behind them.
Our History
Our region's history is brief—very brief. Founded in 2025, the Jersey Shore Region is just beginning its journey. Yet, in many ways, we are continuing a story that began decades ago.
Nearly four decades after the last AACA region serving the Central Jersey Shore concluded operations in 1988, we are proudly picking up where that organization left off. While much has changed since then, the passion for antique automobiles, preservation, and fellowship remains as strong as ever.
As we build this new region, we do so with an appreciation for those enthusiasts who came before us and a commitment to creating a vibrant future for the hobby along the Jersey Shore. Today, we are writing the first chapter of a new history—one that we hope will continue for generations to come.
Membership Benefits
Membership in the Jersey Shore Region begins with membership in the Antique Automobile Club of America, one of the nation's premier organizations dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of antique automobiles.
AACA members enjoy a wide range of benefits, including access to the award-winning Antique Automobile magazine, eligibility to participate in national shows and tours, access to valuable historical resources, and the opportunity to connect with thousands of fellow enthusiasts across the country.
At the local level, the Jersey Shore Region offers something even more special—the opportunity to become part of a growing community of automotive enthusiasts right here along the Central Jersey Shore.
